Carrying out the rites of sacrifice can instil the values of sincerity, sacrifice and gratitude as well as strengthen relationships and foster the spirit of unity and cooperation.

Kampong Kilanas Mosque Takmir Committee held the Rites of Sacrifice ceremony. The sacrificial meats were distributed by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunus, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office to participants and asnaf group around Kampung Kilanas.

The Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampung Manggis Madang also held a similar ceremony. The sacrificial meats were distributed to the participants and the asnaf group by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunus, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as Advisor to the Mosque's Takmir Committee.

The Kampung Kasat Mosque Takmir Committee and the Kampung Kasat Consultative Council also held such a ceremony. The sacrificial meats were distributed to the participants and the asnaf group by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti; and Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, Member of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile, the distribution of sacrificial meats organised by the WARGAMAS Association was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Member of the Legislative Council as the Advisor of the association. Recipients were comprised of the participants and asnaf group.

An-Na'im Mosque Takmir Committee, Panchor Mengkubau National Housing Scheme organised a similar ceremony. The sacrificial meats were distributed by Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Member of the Legislative Council.

Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque, Sengkurong also distributed the sacrificial meats to the participants and the poor and destitute asnaf. The distribution was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohammad, Member of the Legislative Council.

Also holding a similar ceremony was the Kampung Penapar Mosque Takmir Committee, Tutong District. The sacrificial meats were distributed to 13 poor and destitute asnaf by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
